What Parents Should Know About the Game
Backyard Sport Sandlot Sluggers is an exciting game that captures the essence of what kids love about baseball video games. Messages about healthy, active lifestyles and positive social skills are sprinkled throughout the game. Your child will enjoy new gameplay features such as a never before seen story mode, and super-charged power-ups that will keep them swinging for more. Parents can also join-in on the fun with an all-new Family Co-op mode.
Focus group testing was conducted among 4 groups of boys 6-12 years old and their parents:
- Parents listed the “family friendly” nature of the game as a key reason they would buy it for their sons.
- After playing the game, 96% of boys interviewed report they want to own the new Backyard Sports Sandlot Sluggers.
- Boys were very fond of the Power Ups, humor and story mode and thought it prolonged the life of the game.
- One parent was quoted as saying “When I was playing the game, I felt like it was a bonding time with me and him. I’d definitely recommend it.”
